Title

Efficient Retrieval of large data set by using Variable Length Compression

Abstract

In data warehousing and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) application, within the database relation comparison between group of tuples with their attribute and values requires syntax and semantics that currently available Database Management System do not provide. Currently, complex SQL queries consist of scalar-level operations are often formed to obtain even very simple set-level semantics. In order optimize to such queries are difficult to write as well as challenging for a database engine, which leads to costly evaluation We studied aggregate function-based technique and Compressed bitmap index-based technique using Word-Aligned Hybrid (WAH) compression to processing set predicates. 
Bitmap index, which creates one bitmap vector for individual attribute value. It occupies less space than unprocessed data and gives more opportunity for efficient query processing. One of the disadvantages of existing system is that, if number of attributes increases, applying the bitmap becomes more costly. We have broken the property of bitmap index and developed very effective bitmap pruning policy by using variable length coding based approach. Huffman coding compression technique is applied for processing queries, which eliminates the necessity of scanning and processing the entire data set, which results in speeds up the query processing significantly. Experiments verified our technique is much more efficient than existing algorithms in optimizing queries and processing large datasets.

Abstract

Nowadays privacy and security of the data plays an important role in every field or business. Every company or organization wants their confidential data private. Some distributer or a BPO company has given sensitive data to a set of supposedly trusted companies or a set of users. The data is distributed to third parties is found in a public/private domain.  Finding the guilty party is a nontrivial task to distributor. Traditionally data leakage is handled by water marking technique which requires modification of data. If the watermarked copy is found at some unauthorized site then distributor can claim his ownership. In this project, we implement a prevention technique by providing security to the file so that data will be more secured before handling by user. Also we are introducing the concept of One Time Password (OTP) for user authentication. Here we are sending files to the user in encrypted form using encryption algorithm so that files will be more secured. Data allocation strategies are used to improve the probability of identifying guilty agents and analyze it by inserting the fake objects with original documents.  Designed system where provide security to the files that it will be kept secured.

Abstract

In agricultural sector, farmers in rural areas faced major problems because of illiteracy. They cannot take the advantage of internet to access the information related to farming. The 64% population in India cannot use the internet due to lack of technical knowledge. This project will help farmer to find potential buyer for his farm goods at the same time he can look for different things that he will need in his farm while farming.
In this project, E-Krishi is the online platform for farmers. Similarly a Retailer and Dealer can also register themselves on this website where Retailer can find raw material & Dealer can find customers for his farm related goods. Farmers wishing to sell their products can post in turn their offers on the system. Any farmer can use this facility to sell his stock. As they have precise information on their current value of their products they can expect to sell for a fair price. Buyers and sellers can effectively search for advertisement and requirement postings. This project will give the facilities of an e-learning, video tutorials for farmers providing them with basic technical education.

Abstract

The mapping of IP addresses to hostnames is a major problem in rapidly growing internet. The higher level binding effort went on increasing to different level of development up to the currently used Domain Name System. DNS, being an open source, it is less secured and it has no means of determining whether domain name data comes from an authorized domain owner. So these vulnerabilities lead to a number of attacks, namely Black Hole Attack. Hence, there is a need of securing DNS. Domain Name System has number of workgroups and these workgroups are connected to the server. This server is connected to the server of other domain and the proposed system secures client using Advanced Encryption Standard.
AES uses symmetric key cryptography. The AES algorithm operates on bytes, which makes it simpler to implement.

Abstract

The world-wide web is rapidly growing day by day in all fields, mining the data from multiple websites is necessary to filter the relevant contents. A large amount of information is available in the web today. Information extraction is defined as the automatic extraction of structured information from unstructured documents.
In this paper, we advise to construct a college website that provides important facts to the users. This technique is supported by users pleasant tool. We took initiative to make the alternate in the DMITER college internet site that is to feature seek panel on it .A few web sites are evolved without the quest panel so it seems very hard to extract statistics from it, and this is also one of the cause to take initiative to do that task .A website should be always consumer friendly and satisfy the user and in the back of this satisfaction of the user the tremendous software infrastructure is there. And it's far tough enough to preserve facts base of it. In this project we've made all the feasible efforts from our aspect to maintain it properly and finally our subsequent main goal changed into to make the website greater person friendly ,and that is what we need today.

Abstract:

           There has been an enormous increase in the crime in the recent past. The cops in their role to catch criminals are required to remain convincingly ahead in the race between law breakers and law enforcers. One of the key concerns of the law enforcers is how to enhance investigative effectiveness of the police. To provide the excellent and efficient services to the police department, the proposed system introduces one innovative idea for the SEWAGRAM POLICE STATION, WARDHA, named as “CRIME-SOFTECH”.
The existing systems used by Wardha Police is fully complex with manual work, it takes to much efforts to find particular records of a criminals and there may be possibility to loss any record which is written on particular paper. This crude method has resulted in problems in the areas of authenticity, security, retrieval, storage, and exchange of information. The proposed interface is used to extract useful information from the vast crime database maintained by SEWAGRAM POLICE STATION, WARDHA and find crime records using crime data mining techniques such as clustering, etc. In this system, it is useful for police to get information of the criminals in less time which reduce human efforts. An interactive interface as crime analysis tool has been designed for this purpose.

Abstract

The aim of this system is to handle the database administration in municipal corporations. This report describes the development of two applications (Client & Server) and a database. The server application will perform the link function between the client and the database source. We integrate the data from all departments. Employee Information Management System provides a simple interface for maintenance of employee information. The creation and management of accurate, up-to-date information regarding employees is taken care. Employee information system deals with all kind of employee details, service related record, leave record, salary statement, attendance maintaining record and other resource related details too. It tracks all the details of an employee from the day one to the end of the service which can be used for all reporting purpose, tracking of attendance, progress in the service, completed service, years, task or any other assignment details embedded in the employee’s website.

Abstract

Currently, recommender systems (RS) have been widely applied in many commercial e-commerce sites to help users deal with the information overload problem. Recommender systems provide personalized recommendations to users and thus help them in making good decisions about which product to buy from the vast number of product choices available to them. Many of the current recommender systems are developed for simple and frequently purchased products like books and videos, by using collaborative-filtering and content-based recommender system approaches.
These approaches are not suitable for recommending luxurious and infrequently purchased products as they rely on a large amount of ratings data that is not usually available for such products. This research aims to explore novel approaches for recommending infrequently purchased products by checking the semantics of the product selected by the user and then recommending the products most related to its semantics.

Abstract

In today’s technical world the android operating system based smart phone plays a huge role in the technical field and also provides various useful applications which can be used in day to day life. The proposed system will see how the remote desktop with static IP can be accessed using android based mobile phones; to implement this application we will be using virtual network computing architecture. The key objective is to remotely access and monitor different tasks running on the PC by connecting it to an android operating system based mobile phone through a network. This approach turns your mobile phone into a controller and viewer that can monitor the tasks running on PC and also view its desktop. The proposed system will be containing the process of accessing and monitoring the computers with the help of android cell-phones.

Abstract

The number of personal vehicles usage is increasing manifold. People prefer personal vehicles to commute than depend on public transportation. Finding a parking space in most metropolitan areas, especially during the rush hours, is difficult for drivers. Parking problems are becoming ubiquitous and ever growing at an alarming rate in every major city. Due to this there is a need to provide sufficient parking places coupled with plenty of slots to help the user park his vehicle safely, also to ensure the user does not end up parking on non-parking area and cause discomfort to pedestrian. The idea behind our Android Application-“Smart Park” is to help the user analyze area’s where parking is available and number of slots free in that area. The user can pre-book a slot in the area he desires if it is available. This will help reduce the load on the administrator as his physical work reduces drastically and user can search the parking slot through Android Application. Payment services are made available using Google Wallet, so the user is required to own a credit card or debit card. “Smart Park” Application relieves the user from the hassle of manually searching and waiting for empty slots to park the vehicle.

Abstract

Now-a-days there is a growing interest in using Web services as a reliable medium for data-sharing among different data providers and users. Recently, enterprises are using service oriented architecture for data sharing in web by putting data sources behind web services instead of creating database applications. These types of web services are called as Data providing (DP) Web services. Data as a Service (DaaS) builds on service-oriented technologies to enable fast access to data resources on the web. In this project, we proposed a mediator-based approach to compose different websites of different doctors with the help of DaaS. Every doctor wants to be upgraded so he/she is always connected to new innovations and other doctors. Doctor having different website created in different language and communicate because of Window Communication Foundation (WCF). But, DaaS technology raises several new privacy concerns that traditional privacy models do not handle. In addition, DaaS composition may reveal privacy-sensitive information. Here we are trying to enhance the privacy while composing the websites. So we will describe a formal privacy model for Web Services that goes beyond traditional data-oriented models. This model extends DaaS descriptions with privacy capabilities. It deals with privacy not only at the data level (i.e., inputs and outputs) but also service level (i.e., service invocation). The algorithms like Privacy Compatibility Matching (PCM) to check the privacy compatibility, negotiation mechanism that makes it possible to dynamically reconcile the privacy compatibilities of services will be used.

Abstract

There are many departments of administration for the maintenance of college information and student databases in any institution. All these departments provide various records regarding students. Most of these track records are needed to maintain information about the students. This information could be the general details like student name, address, performance etc or specific information related to departments like collection of data. All the modules in college administration are interdependent. They are maintained manually. So they need to be automated and centralized as, information from one module will be needed by other modules. This project is useful for easy user interface. The system utilizes the powerful database management, data retrieval and data manipulation. This project provides easy way for managing the data than manually maintaining the documents.
Institutional quadro gives a straight forward interface to support of student data. The creation and administration of error less, exceptional data in regards to a student scholarly profession is discriminatingly paramount in the colleges and in universities. Institutional Quadro manages all sorts of student details, academic related reports, college details, fee details, faculty, results, batch details and other resource related details too. It tracks all the details of a student from very first moment to the end of the course which could be utilized for all reporting purpose, progress in the study, completed semesters, years, coming semester year curriculum details, fee details, project or any other assignment details, final exam result and all these will be available through a secure, online interface embedded in this Quadro.
